Defined a business case for partially repowering aging and/or poorly sited wind turbines. Developed criteria for site acquisition and analyzed USWTB dataset to identify turbines of interest. Visited candidate sites, collected operational data, and conducted due diligence. Developed go-to-market strategy and pipeline comprising 5,580 turbines with a constructed value of approximately $14.5 billion. Built a utility-scale wind pro forma tool to conduct scenario modeling and project feasibility. Identified prevailing wind class and direction and characterized turbine layout and turbine spacing at sites of interest. Compiled market conditions and historical data on ownership and off-take agreements for each site. Explored hybrid system configurations including colocation of PV and BESS. Currently negotiating licensing deal with technology partner.
